254 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION A n immigration attorney with more than 10 years of professional experience, Micol Mion is passionate about helping immigrants realize their dreams and goals. She especially enjoys reuniting families and aiding refugees who can no longer return to their home countries. An Italian emigrant to the U.S., Ms. Mion became interested in her field while experiencing difficulties with her visa as a student. She delved into the profession with firsthand knowledge, facing each client’s problem with dedication and compassion and never turning away from a challenge. Ms. Mion holds an MA from the prestigious Harvard University, an M.A. from Northeastern University, an M.S. from Brandeis University, a JD from Boston University, and an L.L.M. from the City University of New York. She has also been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Acting as partner of Immigration Solutions LLC, EB5 Global Ventures, since 2009, Ms. Mion is also a prolific author who has penned articles in the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law and Museum Management and Curatorship. She is fluent in five languages and maintains affiliation with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Boston Bar Association. Ms. Mion attributes her success to her ability to relate with people based on her travel experience and exposure to different cultures. She was honored by Super Lawyers as a Top Woman Attorney in Immigration Law, and Finance Monthly named her U.S. Immigration Attorney of the Year. Other notable achievements include being named a Top Contributor for Pro Bono Work by Avvo and Best for Immigration Law by Corporate America Legal Elite, while her company was recognized as U.S. Independent Immigration Law Firm of the Year at the 2017 ACQ Global Awards.
