A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 379 W ith more than five decades of professional experience, Dr. John Parks Trowbridge is a prominent and respected figure in the health care industry. Working in his private practice, Life Celebrating Health, since 1978, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Trowbridge became interested in his profession at a young age and has continuously exhibited his passion for the industry through his diverse work background. Dr. Trowbridge is the co-author of the best- selling Bantam book “The Yeast Syndrome,” published in 1986. He has also contributed myriad articles to professional journals and has produced and narrated dozens of CDs and DVDs in alternative integrative medicine. In addition, he is the author of several forthcoming books, including “Heartbreak: Top 5 Reasons to Doubt Your Heart Doctor.” He is a contributor to “Mastering the Art of Success,” which features content from world- renowned author Jack Canfield; to “Driven,” with Brian Tracy; and to “The Big Question” with Larry King. In recognition of his literary prowess, he won the Editor’s Choice Award for his chapter in each of those books. The former president of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine and the Great Lakes College of Clinical Medicine, Dr. Trowbridge has held leadership roles for a plethora of professional societies. He has led the International College of Integrative Medicine, the Metabolic Syndrome Association, the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology, the National Health Federation, and the American College for Advancement in Medicine, among others. Dr. Trowbridge received the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from the International College of Integrative Medicine, a Distinguished Service Citation from the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a Resolution of Commendation from the APMA House of Delegates. The most rewarding aspect of his career has been inspiring a wonderful office staff, who treat each patient with compassion and understanding. Looking toward the future, he will continue to work with stem cells and deep blood fungus in order to treat illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, leukemia, lupus, arthritis and diabetes.
