Braggio became involved in psychology and public health because he was extremely curious about science, the challenges of the unknown, and the availability of tools to understand those challenges. He believes that public health enables the implementation of scientific tools to help the general public, particularly underserved populations at risk of environmental hazards. A psychologist and epidemiologist with 44 years of work experience, he has been president of Mt. Diablo Analytical Solutions and Reporting Institute, LLC, since 2017. Dr. Braggio holds a BA in psychology with a Russian language concentration, anMA inexperimental psychology, aPhD inphysiological psychology/comparative psychology, and an MPH in epidemiology. He has published 40 articles in scientific journals, two book chapters and 22 scientific conference abstracts, and given more than 81 scientific conference presentations. In addition to being highlighted in the first edition of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Dr. Braggio is a grantee of the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
