A Marquis Who's Who Magazine 45 L icensed in real estate in California, Pennsylvania and New York, Robert R. Aurner has more than 45 years of professional experience. Before retiring in 1991, Mr. Aurner was the national director of real estate and a consultant store developer for Nathan’s Famous, Inc. He had previously honed his leadership skills as a senior sales supervisor for the Shell Oil Company and the director of development for the Gulf Oil Corporation’s Central California Coast Service Station. Mr. Aurner was also manager of operations for the eastern division of Sunray DX Oil Company, now Sunoco, and manager of site development for Milex Auto Diagnostic Tune Up and Brakes, Inc. In addition to serving in a managerial capacity for much of his career, Mr. Aurner was a tower development consultant for the Nextel Wireless Telecommunications Corporation, as well as founding chairman, member of the board of directors and president of the Bristlecone Trading & Development Corporation. Formerly a career counselor for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, he is currently the president and chairman of Aurner and Associates Retail Land Development Consultants, as well as a member of its board of directors. Mr. Aurner is affiliated with the USS Yellowstone Association, the Compari Club of Monterey Peninsula, the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club, the Elkhorn Yacht Club, and the Buccaneer Club of New York. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Monterey, the Pacheco Club, the Monterey Elks Lodge, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the Moss Landing Harbor Safe Boating Committee, the Moss Landing Chamber of Commerce, the Navy League of the United States, and the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce. He was named to the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels by the governor of Kentucky. Mr. Aurner’s career is backed by an Associate of Arts he received from Monterey Peninsula College in 1949 and a Bachelor of Arts he earned in 1950. He is licensed in real estate in the states of California and New York, as well as in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a registered investment advisor. ROBERT R.
