Since the age of 17, when he began working for his uncle’s drilling company in Houston, Jake C. Venable has performed directional drilling working oil fields in some of the major petroleum reservoirs and geologic basins throughout the continental U.S. and Mexico. Now with more than 50 years of experience in his profession, including several years in managerial roles with Smith International, Halliburton and Pathfinder, he oversees drilling operations, finances and business development for a firm whose workforce has more than 150 years of combined experience.
