141 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine D esiring to help people and make a difference in their lives, Dr. Cynthia D. Owens has always found great fulfillment in medicine. Receiving an associate degree from Highland Park Community College in 1973, she subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University in 1975 and DO from Michigan State University in 1979. Board certified in internal, geriatric and hospital medicine, she commenced her career in 1984 as an internist in Quincy, Florida, holding the role for two years. Thereafter, she was an internist at the Gastroenterology Clinic in Pascagoula, Mississippi, from 1986 to 1994 before serving in the same capacity for Prevention Health Physicians in Biloxi, Mississippi, until 1996. From 1996 to 2001, she was an internist at the Digestive Health Center in Pascagoula, and since 2005, has served as locum hospitalist. A fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Osteopathic Internists, Dr. Owens maintains affiliation with the American Cancer Society, American Osteopathic Association, American Geriatric Association and American Medical Association, among many others. In light of her outstanding achievements, she was featured in the first edition of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. PHYSICIAN Digestive Health Center Detroit, MI D r. Richard L. Odor is a respected and acclaimed psychologist who has accrued over 40 years in the field. A former mental health administrator and senior consultant for the Global Consultant Partnership Inc. in Wayne, Pennsylvania, he has been serving as a psychologist in his own private practice in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, since 1989. Commencing his post-doctoral career as Director of Emergency Services at Southeast Community Mental Health Center in Columbus, Ohio, in 1986, he has also served in myriad psychological roles throughout the state of Ohio, including Program Director of Southeast Counseling Services. He has also been a staff member at Grant Medical Center in Columbus since 1995. In addition to receiving BA, MA and PhD degrees from The Ohio State University, Dr. Odor also has competed in IWF Weightlifting competitions across the globe and been a certified national referee through USA Weightlifting Inc. since 2007. As a testament to his strength and success, he has received numerous gold, silver and bronze medals in national and international IWF Weightlifting championships.
