79 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine A fter spending several years as a music teacher, Pamela Jean Estes received a calling fromGod to enter the ministry. Discovering that her years in education ultimately prepared her for her career in religious services, she commenced her journey as an associate pastor inWalpole, Massachusetts, in 1987, later becoming an executive pastor and senior pastor as her career progressed. From 2016 to 2019, she was a senior pastor for the First United Methodist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas. She now serves St. Paul United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she not only provides spiritual leadership to members of her church, but also participates in baptisms, weddings and funerals. Since 2015, Ms. Estes has also served as chair of the Arkansas Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. She holds a BA in English and religion, a BME in music education, and an MME in music education from Ouachita Baptist University; an MLS from Vanderbilt University; and an MDiv and STM from Boston University. As a testament to her success, Ms. Estes received the Jim Beal Barnabas Award from the Arkansas Conference Board of Ordained Ministry in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys playing music, writing poetry, traveling and reading. PASTOR St. Paul United Methodist Church Little Rock, AR PAMELA JEAN ESTES S upported by 33 years of practiced experience in education, Dianne Carol Edwards is a well-respected secondary school teacher who served the Santa Clara Unified School District for the full duration of her career. During this tenure, she also acted as a mentor teacher, SIP facilitator and district coordinator of the New Teacher Program. Alongside her primary endeavors, she is a past accreditor for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), as well as a consultant for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program with the Santa Clara County Office of Education. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University and Master of Arts from the University of San Francisco, Ms. Edwards notably co-authored “Wear Comfortable Shoes and Bring a Sack Lunch” in 1976. In recognition of her educational prowess, she was named Teacher of the Year by Wilcox High School in 1977. However, the highlights of her career have been witnessing students learn and understand the material taught to them, finding joy in their new discoveries. In her spare time, she enjoys playing musical instruments, traveling, spending time with her family, and reading.
