75 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine D r. Gordon Arbogast graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and earned an MSEE and MSIM from Georgia Tech. He commanded Army units through battalion level in Korea, Fort Bragg, Vietnam and Germany, and was deputy programmanager of an Army $1 billion computer acquisition. He received a PhD fromClemson University in 1986. Dr. Arbogast headed the engineering department at West Point for three years and initiated systems engineering, which became a new department. From 1989 to 1990, Dr. Arbogast served as Associate Director of Engineering and Technology for the Defense Communications Agency. He led the effort to transform his agency into the new Defense Information Systems Agency. Retiring in 1990, he worked as a principal scientist at CONTEL and was vice president of systems technology at Pacific Bell for three years. In 1994, he joined the College of Business at Jacksonville University, where he served as a department head, and was associate dean and graduate director. He has received myriad accolades for his research and professional achievements. A lector at his local Catholic church, he is active in community affairs. PROFESSOR Jacksonville University Jacksonville, FL GORDON WADE ARBOGAST, PHD, PE M ichael Benjamin Aiello retired as a science teacher at San Luis Obispo High School in 2008, having commenced his career in 1970. Prior to delving into his profession, he attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a BA in zoology and an MA in cellular and organismal biology in 1969 and 1970, respectively. A licentiate of the American Association of Physics Teachers, Mr. Aiello was formerly a member of multiple commissions for various teacher education programs through the California Department of Education. Equally passionate about his community, he was the founder of Troop 104 with the Boy Scouts of America, a position he held for five years. As a testament to his success in the field, Mr. Aiello was named California Teacher of the Year and earned the National Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation. Additionally, he received the Central Coast Outstanding Educator Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Vandenberg Air Force Base, as well as a Certificate of Recognition and Commendation from the California Department of Education.
