80 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine F rancis “Frank” E. Hamilton, PhD, is an associate professor of management at Eckerd College in St Petersburg, Florida. He started at Eckerd as an assistant professor in 2004. His BS is from Kent State University and his MS is from the University of Southern California. He is a retired U.S Army Ordnance lieutenant colonel with 22 years of service, including several tours in Germany and a stint at the Pentagon. After retiring, he started and managed a professional employer organization. Dr. Hamilton started his PhD program at age 50. While in his PhD program, he was the co-founder and past president of Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT), a high quality, high- volume, low cost (HQHVLC) non-profit veterinary clinic that now serves over 25,000 clients per year. He co-authored an article that won the 2006 Emerald Management Citations of Excellence Award for the Top 50 Articles in Business and Economics Journals. He also received the Satterfield Mentor of the Year Award from Eckerd College in 2017. While at the University of South Florida, he was chosen as the Faculty Advisor of the Year. He maintains affiliation with the Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association and the Animals and Society Institute. HAMILTON, PHD EDUCATION D rawing upon a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in design from the University of Michigan, John L. Goodyear was interested in art from a very young age. Desiring to delve into the field professionally, he first served as an instructor at his alma mater for six years before holding the same role at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He began his tenure at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 1964, holding positions such as professor and art department chairman until attaining emeritus status in 1997. A prolific artist in the realm of kinetic art, also known as work that moves, Mr. Goodyear was exhibited in myriad galleries across the nation and has had both solo and group shows in the United States, Canada, Australia, England, France and Italy. The artist of a major retrospective hosted in the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 2000, his most important show was “Responsive Eye” in the 1960s, which was favorably reviewed by art critic Brian O’Doherty.
