22 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine D orothy M. Fullerton sold her first piece of artwork as a teenager and soon after desired to enter the profession full time. After settling in San Francisco, California, she began serving as a fashion model and modeling executive for multiple companies, including the Grimme Modeling Agency. Ms. Fullerton, who completed coursework at Women’s Christian College in Chennai, India, and the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, has exhibited her artwork in one-woman and group shows in Delaware, Massachusetts, Texas, Vermont and California. She has also been represented in permanent and private collections in the United States and France. While studying in France, she received a certificate from the L’Ecole du Louvre and took a course at the Sorbonne. Ms. Fullerton has maintained membership with the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery, the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum and the Artist Cooperative Gallery, of which she served as president. Cannady is a prominent author and business consultant who has been serving Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a project and program manager and business analyst since 2007. Previously serving Hewlett-Packard Company, Altia Design, Inc., Eastern Arizona College, and MC Associates, Inc., she has also been a frequent guest speaker at multiple academic institutions across the United States. She was featured in the Granger’s Index to Poetry for “Sunlight in the Cafeteria” in 1984 and was one of four artists chosen to represent the federally funded program Arts in Arizona Towns, having previously been featured in the monthly television series “Eyewitness Arizona.” She also founded the writing lab at Eastern Arizona College. Ms. Cannady has been decorated with several accolades, receiving the Recognition Award from the Academy of American Poetry Magazine in 2012. One of her anthologies was named One of the Year’s Best Books by the Library Journal in 1980, and she was a three-time nominee for the Pushcart Prize in Poetry.
