26 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Sejong University. Dr. Hosaka launched an English language website to inform citizens that the Dokdo islets are Korean territory. He spent months getting information and working to get documents online. Currently, there are six different YouTube videos providing video graphics about different aspects of the debate. Dr. Hosaka has received many accolades throughout his career. In 2005, he earned the Minister’s Citation Award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He continued to excel, earning the Best Professor Prize from Sejong University in 2008, an Achievement Award from the Dokdo Special Committee National Assembly of Korea in 2011, an “I Love Korea” Prize from KBS in 2012 and the Red Stripes of the Order of Service Merit Award from the Korean government in 2013. Dr. Hosaka has been featured in the 33rd edition of Who’s Who in the World. P olitical science professors like Yuji Hosaka teach courses in international affairs and relations. Since 1998, Dr. Hosaka has been teaching future lawyers and politicians at Sejong University in various capacities, including lecturer, assistant professor and associate professor. Since 2014, he has served as a professor and director of the Research Institute. To prepare for his career, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Tokyo University, and a master’s degree and PhD in politics from Korea University. Aside from his teaching career, Dr. Hosaka has served as an executive director for the Institute for East Asia Peace Studies, consultant for the Northeast Asian History Foundation, non- executive director for the Independence Hall of Korea and guest commentator for the Korean Broadcasting System.
