Notably, she conducted many seminars at the Philadelphia College of Science and Textiles, now Thomas Jefferson University. Civically involved, she was a past teacher of art at the Bird S. Coler Hospital, now NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler, in New York City and remains an active member of the West Side Block Association. Among the notable achievements of her career, Ms. Samios considers getting her first job at the age of 19 to be an absolute highlight. She has maintained affiliation with the National Home Fashions League and the American Society of Interior Designers. As a testament to her success, she was featured in the 21st edition of Who’s Who in the East as well as the 15th and 16th editions of Who’s Who of American Women. C orinne Samios has been a fabric and wallpaper design director for Brunschwig & Fils in New York City since 1974. Founded in France in 1880 as a tapestry-weaving mill, the company has revolutionized the world of interior design and has become the premier source for exclusive fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings, furniture and carpet. Always boasting an innate sense of color and design, Ms. Samios attended the Traphagen School of Fashion and The Art Students League of New York, completing coursework between 1955 and 1960. During this time, she first served as a colorist for Old Deerfield Fabrics for six years. Subsequently, she was employed with the companies Everfast, Cahoma and Cyrust Clerk between 1963 and 1974 before beginning her tenure with Brunschwig & Fils. Alongside her career endeavors, Ms. Samios developed musical portraits of individuals with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, France, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and the Old Westbury Gardens.
