Since 2012, Mr. Lau has been a managing partner at Clark Lau LLC in Cambridge, Massachusetts, having previously served Flynn & Clark PC, Tilton & Whipple PC (now known as Fletcher Tilton PC), and Fallon, Bixby & Cheng (now known as Fallon, Bixby, Cheng & Lee). Since 2017, Mr. Lau has been vice chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s liaison committee with the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, between 2012 and 2017, he was an adjunct faculty member of New England Law Boston, where he pioneered the business- immigration law curriculum. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science, cum laude, from Yale University, Master of Arts in higher education administration from Boston College and JD from the Boston College Law School. During his law studies, he was one of the managing editors of the Boston College International & Comparative Law Review. An author and co-author of myriad publications in immigration law, Mr. Lau has been named among the Best Lawyers in America since 2010. He has also been listed in numerous Who’s Who publications, including the first edition of Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America, the 37th edition of Who’s Who in the East, the 14th and 15th editions of Who’s Who in American Law, and the 60th through 63rd editions of Who’s Who in America.
