LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT C edric Wakelee Vogel has always wanted to be a lawyer. He graduated from Yale College (B.A., 1968) and Harvard Law School (J.D., 1971), and was admitted to the bars in Ohio and Florida. He joined his father’s firm, which became known as Vogel, Heis & Wenstrup. A general practitioner, Mr. Vogel later became Of Counsel to the firm, continued to practice law and maintained a real estate sales license to earn a commission in occasional real estate transactions. Mr. Vogel has been a member and leader of many local, national and international organizations, including the Cincinnati Yale Club, Yale Alumni Association, Cincinnati Harvard Club, Harvard Alumni Association, Cincinnati Harvard Law School Association, Cincinnatus, General Society of Colonial Wars, Society of Colonial Wars-Ohio and Florida, and Manorial Society of Great Britain. He has also maintained affiliation with the English-Speaking Union (Cincinnati branch and ESU-US), Cincinnati University Club, Cincinnati Country Club, Friends of Music Hall, Men’s Committee of Cincinnati Art Museum, Travel Club of Cincinnati, Heimlich Institute and the Mercantile Library.
