53 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine of Accenture, previously Andersen Consulting. He was Managing Partner of the Andersen Consulting practice in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as the Arthur Andersen Managing Partner in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. He led the project to create its Professional Education Division and was a founder of Andersen Consulting’s Change Management Services practice. Subsequently, Mr. Johnson was a founder and chairman of VIA International LLC. International experience was a major part of Mr. Johnson’s career; in his work for clients and in management roles at Andersen and VIA, he worked in 26 countries on six continents. Mr. Johnson’s civic involvement includes the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, for which he served as amember of the Board of Trustees for 24 years and four years as vice chairman; president of United Way of Lake Forest/Lake Bluff; and vice president of the Lake Forest District 67 Board of Education. Likewise, he was executive vice president of the Lake Forest Symphony and general coordinator for the American Cancer Society Chicago Campaign. He was also president of the Cleveland chapter of the Association for Systems Management. Mr. Johnson’s volunteer support of The Ohio State University includes the Alumni Advisory Council; vice chairman of the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors; chairman of the Presidents Club; Fisher College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council; Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering Alumni Advisory Council; College of Engineering Chicago Advisory Board, and the Mount Leadership Stewardship Council. Mr. Johnson received The Ohio State University Distinguished Service Award. He also received the Fisher College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award, the Alumni Citizenship Award, and the Gerlach Development Volunteer Award. The national Sigma Chi Fraternity gave Mr. Johnson its Significant Sig Award. He also received the Association for Systems Management Merit, Achievement and Distinguished Service Awards. R ichardDarrell Johnson had a long career in management consulting. He earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and a MBA from The Ohio State University. He became a registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Public Accountant. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of captain.
