Allan Edgar Kroncher is an expert consultant and retired economist who has traveled across the globe to lend his knowledge to various companies. Establishing himself in the industry in 1962, he first served as a lecturer at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow for six years before being promoted to assistant professor for the following three years. Soon thereafter, he transitioned roles to a researcher, chief of the research unit and editor of the economic program with Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty, Inc., between 1973 and 1995. For the following 22 years, he served as a private consultant in such cities as Munich; Calpe, Spain; and Ramat Hasharon, Israel. Currently a consultant, a role he has held since 1974, Dr. Kroncher draws upon a master’s degree and PhD from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. During his longstanding tenure in economics and consultancy, he has contributed to 400 articles to esteemed journals and contributed to several publications, including “Kontinent,” “Les Echos” and “Soviet Analyst.” His greatest accomplishment to date, however, is the publication of his book “Per Aspera” by the Russian publishing house Kitoni in 2018, which has since been translated into the Russian language. Crediting his father, who was an economist himself, for his interest in economics, Dr. Kroncher was also mentored by several professors from his academic studies and teaching appointments. In light of his exceptional undertakings, he was honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Further, he was highlighted in the 72 nd edition of Who’s Who in America in 2019, as well as several editions of Who’s Who in Science and Engineering and Who’s Who in the World.
