He has been chief executive officer of a number of companies, such as Amcast Industrial Corporation, a large manufacturer of aluminum wheels for major automobile manufacturers, and InterPacific. Prior to these endeavors, Mr. Lindenmuth served in a number of senior executive roles with such institutions as Quantegy, Inc. (the last major manufacturer of audio and video tape in the U.S.), Robinson Nugent, Inc., a public company, the Imaging Systems Division of Burroughs Corp., Bendix Corp. and the Singer Sewing Machine Co., among others. The chairman of the Interim Executives Association of the United States of America since 2015, he has recently authored several books, including “The Outside the Box Executive” and “The International Executive.” Likewise, he maintains affiliation with the Association for Corporate Growth in Raleigh, North Carolina. Among the notable highlights of his career, Mr. Lindenmuth is proudest of when he took over the ITT Telecom Business and Consumer Communications Group as chief executive officer. In his role, he launched the purchase of personal telephones for the first time in American history, escalating sales from zero dollars to $80 million per year in 1983. Likewise, he thoroughly enjoyed his time spent as a public speaker and lecturer at Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an advisor to the U.S. State Department. Married to his wife Mary-Beth, Mr. Lindenmuth is the proud father of four children and grandfather of one grandson. Enjoying flying, sailing, scuba diving and playing tennis, the former Rodeo rider and U.S. Navy veteran intends to publish his third book and become deeply involved in the economy in the near future.
