25 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT A nthony S. Coppolella is a noteworthy songwriter, poet and author who has amassed 25 years in his profession. After earning a diploma from Bangor High School in Pennsylvania in 1966, he attended a famous art school in Westport, Connecticut, in 1972 before pursuing writing as a career. As he gained prominence in the writing industry, his poetry was featured in “Wind in the Night Sky” in 1993. Thereafter, he became an accomplished songwriter for Hilltop Records and Rainbow Records in Hollywood, California, in 1994, a position he still holds today. During his songwriting career, Mr. Coppolella has written 30 songs, 15 of which are contracted out to musicians. A passionate poet in his spare time, his poetry was featured in “Best Poems of 1995” and received the Editor’s Choice Award in 1995. In recognition of his prestige in the field, he was honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Most recently, he was featured as a seasoned and decorated author and poet on the radio show CUTV Radio News with Doug Llewelyn. To remain abreast of developments in the field of poetry, Mr. Coppolella maintains affiliation with the National Writers Association, theNational Library of Poetry and the International Society of Poets, where he has been a lifetime member and consulting-advisor since 1994. Adevout Mormon, he spends his free time practicing religion and achieved Aaronic priesthood in the Latter Day Saints Church in 1991. Mr. Coppolella is the proud father of three children: Marlo, Anthony and Angelica. Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, to Anthony and Grace Coppolella in 1947, he enjoys art, writing, sports, dancing and cooking in his spare time.
