A member of the Overseas Craftsman Association, Shriners and Masons, where he is a past master of Unionville #210, Mr. Scott was named an honorary Kentucky Colonel in 1986 and has since been featured in Who’s Who in the South and Southwest and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. Passionate about his work, he credits his success to his willingness to travel to remote locations for work. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue in the field in the near future and aspires to work on new, challenging projects. As a testament to his success, Mr. Scott was selected for inclusion in the 72 nd edition of Who’s Who in America in 2019. S ince 2006, Jerry Scott has served as the international project coordinator for Pipeline Machinery International in Houston. Prior to this appointment, he oversaw short-term projects in southeast Asia and the United States while also providing mining equipment service support for Caterpillar, the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturer, for seven years between 1994 and 2001. Earlier in his career, he served as a mechanical supervisor for Occidental Petroleum in eastern Ecuador and was a troubleshooter for Ziegler, Inc., in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Scott’s career has further taken him to such locations as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka since the inception of his career in 1974. He is a Caterpillar certified technician #8707.
