15 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine he has worked within the Mechanical-Electrical Process Division for the majority of his career. JESCO is a notable construction company with offices in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, and puts each client’s needs at the forefront. With annual sales of $180-200 million, JESCO has brought to its clients over $1 billion worth of construction experience over the past five years. Mr. Smith has hands-on experience with numerous projects, including the PACCAR Engine Plant, Mueller Casting, Caterpillar Inc., and Volvo Automotive. Holding 27 different licenses and certifications, he possesses master plumber licenses, master mechanical licenses, master gasfitter licenses, master boiler contractor licenses and master electrical licenses. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Auburn University. Among the highlights of his career, Mr. Smith cites his first major project as a crowning achievement. Working for the Mechanical- Electrical Division of JESCO, he worked with the Mercury Division of Blount Constructors to build a new microelectronics production facility for Martin-Marietta, which was one of the largest class-10 clean room complexes in existence at the time. In addition, he assisted with design and constructed the Nissan North America lithium- ion battery plant and constructed an automobile assembly facility for Nissan North in Mexico. Mr. Smith has further been involved in the design and construction of the Gigafactory for Tesla. Mr. Smith maintains affiliation with the American Society of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers, where he served as chapter president of the Northern Mississippi chapter. Likewise, he is associated with the Mississippi chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors of America and is the electrical representative on the Mississippi Board of Contractors.
