259 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine D rawing upon a Bachelor of Education from the University of Miami and DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Jared Steven Videll is a distinguished figure in the field of medicine who has amassed 43 years in the industry. Commencing his career as a resident and chief resident in Internal Medicine at Atlantic City Medical Center in 1976, he subsequently served as a fellow of cardiovascular diseases with the Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Albert EinsteinMedical Center from 1979 to 1981 before becoming a research fellow in nuclear cardiology at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in 1982 and staff physician there until 1986. He also was author and co-author of several research papers while there. During his professional career, Dr. Videll served such institutions as the Pritikin Longevity Center, Physician Care P.C., the Memorial Hospital Cardiac Stress Laboratory and Lower Bucks Hospital. Beginning in 1994, he served as theMedical Director of the North Philadelphia Health System, GirardMedical Division before becoming chairman of clinical medicine and clinical director of the Girard Medical Center in 1997, a role he held for 13 years. In 2002, Dr. Videll joined the Army Medical Corp Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) and Deputy Commander of Clinical Services (DCCS) of the 48th Combat Support Hospital in Kuwait, during Operation Enduring Freedom. He has also served as the medical director of his local chapter of the American Cancer Society, Inc., and a Pennsylvania State peer reviewer for KEPRO. To remain abreast of developments in the field, he maintains affiliation with such organizations as the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, the International Society Angiology and the Pennsylvania and New Jersey OsteopathicMedical Association, among others. As a testament to his longevity in the field, Dr. Videll was named a Fellow of the American College of Angiology and a member of the International Society of Endovascular Surgery. He has been highlighted in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World.
