291 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine and subsequently received a master’s degree in the discipline in 1978. Drawing upon a prior JD from Gonzaga University, Mr. Murray leveraged his exceptional education and became a reference/resources librarian at the University of Texas Law Library at Austin in 1978, holding the position for three years. Mr. Murray soon after relocated to St. Louis, where he became an associate law librarian at the Washington University in St. Louis Law Library from 1981 to 1984. Returning to his alma mater, Gonzaga University School of Law, he was a law librarian and assistant professor between 1984 and 1991. At the conclusion of his tenure at Gonzaga, Mr. Murray was presented with a nameplate from the students of Gonzaga Law School in recognition of his dedication to his students. He cites this experience as a highlight of his career. In the latter half of his career, Mr. Murray served as a librarian at the East Bonner County Library District from 1991 to 1997 and a law librarian at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Library in Spokane, Washington, from 1997 until his retirement in 2014. A consultant in the field in his spare time, he also sat on the state advisory board of the National Reporter on Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility for nearly a decade. Likewise, he has authored numerous articles and reviews to professional journals, as well as co-authored a number of books in law. Mr. Murray has received numerous accolades in light of his outstanding achievements. He has been listed in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the West, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
