312 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine G rowing up in Loire Valley, France, Fred Feufeu often cooked food with his grandmother, which ultimately inspired him to delve into the food service industry. Attending the Les Sorbets School in Brittany, France, he also studied in Paris and London before immigrating to the United States, where he first served as a chef in New York. Departing from the prominent city in 2003, he moved to Massachusetts, where he has since served as the executive chef and owner of Bleu Restaurant. Located on 10 Market Street in Mashpee, Massachusetts, Bleu Restaurant is renowned for its upscale and inviting atmosphere, offering French delicacies with a bistro spin and an extensive wine list. Since its inception, Bleu Restaurant has received top honors for its exceptional cuisine and wine program, receiving myriad accolades in light of Mr. Feufeu’s vision and the extraordinary dedication and service of his staff. Receiving 12 consecutive Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence, the restaurant also earned the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2016 and consistently receives illuminating reviews on Zagat, TripAdvisor and Yelp. Mr. Feufeu prides himself on the authenticity of the restaurant’s cuisine. Mr. Feufeu was named Best Chef of America in 2013 for his outstanding culinary skills, unwavering dedication to his patrons and impressive management skills. He attributes his success to his diligence in his profession and modesty, always wishing to improve upon his existing skills. Alongside his primary endeavors, he has maintained involvement in charities and fundraising events, such as outreach programs for Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer awareness. Married to his wife Carri for many years, Mr. Feufeu is the proud father of two children, Lucie and Tristan. He plans to write a cookbook in the near future.
