D rawing upon more than 25 years of professional excellence, Nikoo Bakhtiar is a prominent business executive who has been serving as the owner of CrossKeys Vineyards since 2001. After obtaining a mass of land upon moving to Mt. Crawford, Virginia, Ms. Bakhtiar and her husband decided to transform the land into a vineyard, which has since been met with significant success. Growing Petit Verdot grapes, the vineyard is already well known in the Shenandoah Valley region. Looking toward the future, she aspires to produce more than 10,000 cases of wine per year and be renowned on an international scale. The recipient of a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Southern California, Ms. Bakhtiar has received 120 medals from various competitions, locally and internationally. Her most recent award was the 2018 Virginia Governor’s Cup, and she recently helped raise $250,000 for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital’s annual fundraiser.
