366 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine A high energy and results-driven cross functional team leader, Monica Winders has always set stretch goals and achieved them with excellence. At the inception of her career, she worked at Apple, Inc., culminating in the position of marketing manager. She then worked for SGI in the same role before moving to Cisco again as a marketing manager and then working with the channel, where she displayed her passion. Since 2015, she has been an accomplished worldwide channels marketing manager with NetApp. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Azusa Pacific University (APU). In 2014, Ms. Winders was appointed by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors to serve on the San Martin Planning Advisory Committee. Her duties include providing advisory recommendations on land use and on major county projects within the San Martin planning area. Since 2018, she has served as director of social media for the Porsche Racing Club, and since 2002, has been a Small Group Leader at South Valley Community Church in Gilroy, California. In 2011, she partnered with the business administration department at APU to identify students with high potential to be part of the Cisco mentorship program, which helped raise scholarship funds for APU students. She also had the honor of serving Cisco Silicon Valley Grants as a volunteer, reviewing grant applications for health nonprofit organizations in Silicon Valley. Ms. Winders was featured in Women of the Channel’s article “Recognizing the Unique Strengths Women Bring to the Table” in 2019. She was also recognized in The Channel Company’s article “100 People You Don’t Know but Should” in 2018 and NetApp’s chief marketing officer presented her with a Spot Award in 2017. She received 19 Achievement Awards through the Cisco Achievement Program, which are used to reward exceptional contribution to the achievement of company goals and objectives. She was also a 2012 Cisco Systems Gold Medal winner. Furthermore, she was presented with an Honorable Mention in the Cisco Services 2011 Innovation & Execution Recognition Program and was an MVP Award recipient for a successful Execution of the Advanced Services Portfolio.
