Millennium Magazine_4th Ed

In my youth, I coveted the idea of being a published author and poet. The ideal associated with these aspirations has served to drive me, even in my adult life. When it came time to enroll in an institution of higher learning, I elected to forego more elite universities in favor of a liberal arts college, located in the heart of the Berkshires in rural Massachusetts. While there, I attended a number of workshops that allowed me to hone my creative writing skills. These workshops, coupled with my own dedication to the craft, provided me with a foundation upon which I have built my career. The prestigious roster of Marquis Who’s Who listees has a keen understanding that the vocational journey is sometimes unexpected and woven with serpentine roads. Following my college graduation, I served as a legal writer for a disability law firm for two years prior to accepting my role with Marquis Who’s Who. Although the professions of law and publishing are remarkably different, the static underpinning has always been my passion for the written word. In modern times, work transitions are common – natural twists and turns of events have ultimately led us all to where we are today. Among others, the most significant lesson I have learned is trusting the organic progression of my own journey with the knowledge that I hold the reins of my own destiny. As evident within the pages of the fourth edition of Millennium Magazine, Marquis listees have taken command of their own fate, exemplified within their notable backgrounds in politics, business, health care, law, engineering, education, art, religion and entertainment. As society advances, so do our positions within our own respective realms of expertise. We grow, adapt and revolutionize the field, often to the extent that many professionals have transcended the boundaries of their industries, overflowing into other trades. In that vein, I encourage you to laude those highlighted in this edition of Millennium Magazine and recognize our collective ability to illustrate versatility in the professional arena. Above all else, we thank our listees for their ardent participation in the editorial efforts of Marquis Who’s Who, and we offer our sincerest wishes for continued success!
