362 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine A coveted figure in the communications industry, Ewell D. “Bub” Pendergrass served LED Communications in Cedarville, Arkansas, as co-owner from 1975 until his passing in 2016. Spending more than four decades immersed in the world of communications, he is remembered as a dedicated and unwavering executive whose commitment to his career and family is unparalleled. While serving LED Communications, Mr. Pendergrass was also an electronics supervisor in Fort Smith, Arkansas, after serving the city as an electronics technician beginning in 1973. At the inception of his career in 1966, he was a communications technician for Murdock Communications. Drawing upon an Associate of Applied Science in electronics from Westark Community College, Mr. Pendergrass spent his spare time serving as a broadcast engineer for Stations KFSA and KWHN between 1972 and 1976. He also allocated his time to the Arkansas Department of Pollution and Ecology Wastewater and as a licensing board member for the Arkansas Licensing Commission. He maintained affiliation with the Water Works Association as a member, the Arkansas Water Works and Pollution Control Association as chairman and Western District director, and the Border Amateur Radio Club as president. Born on December 24, 1945 in Houston, Texas, Mr. Pendergrass is survived by his wife, Linda, and his three children: William, Douglas and Nagaya. He also has eight grandchildren: Anna, Hailee, Darel, Kylie, Carson, Nathaniel, Elizabeth and Brylee. In recognition of his longevity and accomplishments in the industry, Mr. Pendergrass is immortalized in many editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the Media and Communication, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
