285 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine W illiam P. Koppe II is an accomplished civic servant and longtime deputy sheriff who served Cook County in Chicago from 1985 to 2017. After departing from his post, he began serving as a leader for the Jerusalem Catholics in 2018 and vice commander of the Chicago Police Post 207 with the American Legion in 2019. During this time, he was also the founder of the webpage “1Tribe1Nation1World,” which he established in 2014, and dedicated his time to his community as a Greek-German liaison for the United Hellenic Voters of America. From 1991 to 1996, he was also a world advisor and grandmaster of Han Cha Kyo Universal Taekwondo in Wheeling, Illinois. Prior to embarking on his career, Mr. Koppe was a commander-in-chief for President Ronald Reagan and commander of the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) with the United States Army during the 1980s. He also earned a BBA in business and marketing from the University of San Francisco in 1971. Influenced by Sgt. Russell Harner, a member of an elite Chicago police task force titled Ryan’s Raiders, Mr. Koppe was the founder of the “TruePatriotUSA” domains. He was selected for inclusion in four editions of Who’s Who in America and the 26th edition of Who’s Who in the Midwest between 1998 and 2003. To remain abreast of developments in his field and community, Mr. Koppe maintains affiliation with the University of San Francisco Alumni Association, the German-American National Congress, the National Rifle Association, the Illinois Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus Police Council #12173. Recently, he has learned to blow the Jerusalem Shofar #7 to honor his guardian archangels at the beginning of 5780 Rosh Hashanah, as well as to honor the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. As a testament to his success and longevity in the industry, he was named Knight of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the Catholic Church in 1997 and received a Degree of Wing Chun in Jun Fan, California. The proud father of two children and grandfather of eight grandchildren, Mr. Koppe enjoys practicing martial arts, writing and bowling in his spare time. WILLIAM P.
