34 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine A prolific painter of international renown whose work has been exhibited across six continents, Frank Mann has dedicated his career to artistic expression, self-actualization and passing his impeccable knowledge to others. A guest lecturer at the FrankMann Studio since 2012, he has further worked for a number of charities, including Association D’Aides in Paris, Visual Aids in New York and Art Works 4 Charity in New York. Prior to his current endeavors, he excelled in roles with the Coalition for the Homeless Camp, Children’s Friends for Life and Collaborative Projects, Inc. An esteemed educator as well, Mr. Mann has lent his expertise to Reading College, Northampton College, Iona College, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, The New School- Parsons, Pratt Institute, Pennsylvania State University and Corcoran College of Art as a guest lecturer. Likewise, he was a U.S. representative for important art exhibitions across the globe, including in Venice and Florence, Italy; St. Maurice D’Ibis, France; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. His artwork has been exhibited in group shows in such countries as Australia, Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Argentina, Spain, Brazil and Japan. A talented author as well, Mr. Mann is currently writing a book titled “The Oculus Revolution.” Other prominent books to his credit include “Eye of the Painter” in 1992, “Nerves” in 1992, “The Optical Machine: Some Observations on Artistic Vision” in 1998 and “ASCA: The First Eighty- Five Years” in 2001. Later, he authored “A Poetic Conjuror of Geometric Beauty” in 2006, “Oculus: A Survey Exhibition” in 2009, “Then and Now: The American Society of Contemporary Artists” in 2012 and “The History of Seeing, Part I” in 2014. Mr. Mann is vice president and art historian of the American Society of Contemporary Artists. In recognition of his artistic contributions, he has accrued a number of accolades and honors, most recently including the Premier Leonardo da Vinci International Award from International Contemporary Art Magazine in 2018.
