136 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine since 2015. To share his wealth of knowledge, he developed four audio-visual aid books and has authored 160 abstracts in professional journals. Likewise, he has hosted 120 presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Weber recently received the International President’s Certificate of Appreciation Award for Recognition of Distinguished Achievement from Lions Club International, the Adapted Physical Council’s Service Award from the American Alliance for Health, and the Civic Engagement Award from the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Past accolades to his credit also include the Tommy Wilson Award from the American Alliance for Health and a Citation of Meritorious Achievement in Education and Rehabilitation. Dr. Weber earned the In-Fisherman Fox Valley Award from the State of Wisconsin. He has sat on the board of directors of the Paul Bunyan chapter of Fishing Has No Boundaries since 2012. S upported by over 40 years of excellence in academia and administration, Dr. Robert C. Weber is a respected physical education teacher who most recently served as a part-time graduate teacher and graduate coordinator of adapted physical education in the Department of Kinesiology and Health at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. Retiring from full-time teaching in 2011, he previously taught physical education and recreation for a number of other universities including the University of South Dakota, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Bemidji State University, Texas Tech University, Eastern Illinois University and Dakota State University, among others. Earlier in his career, he was a teacher, coach and intramural sports director at Iowa Wesleyan College and as a graduate assistant at Eastern Illinois University. At the inception of his career in 1971, he served as a director of recreation and adult education and coach at Cass Lake Public Schools in Minnesota. Dr.Weber holds aBachelor of Physical Education and Health from Bemidji State University, Master of Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University, and EdD in special physical education and administration from the University of Utah. He has been a volunteer with the Special Olympics since 1987 and treasurer of the Bemidji Lions Club EDUCATION ROBERT C.
