207 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY A former electronics engineer of 31 years, Stuart Cart is renowned for recovering failed aerospace programs for the U.S. Navy and reverse engineering foreign equipment for Air Force intelligence. Recognized by many government organizations, including the National Security Agency, he has implemented approaches that have enhanced engineering functions and reliability. Utilizing a unique approach that allows individuals to respond appropriately to their environment, he has also invented several technologies that have advanced fields of engineering. Many of his inventions have been employed by government agencies to exceed their objectives. The author of several books describing sophisticated systems and their operation, Mr. Cart also served Purdue University in Indiana as a guest lecturer for 10 years, where he designed his own course and laboratory and subsequently became the highest-rated member of the teaching staff of the combined campuses. Among the highlights of his career, Mr. Cart is proudest of designing a computerized test set that replaced 250 test sets for the Navy. The test set was designed to require no operator training and with the capability of testing like units in future manufacturing programs, thus eliminating the high cost of designing and building support equipment. Now retired, Mr. Cart continues to serve Stavatti Aerospace as their director of innovation. Attributing his success to his commitment to work, respect for others and willingness to take appropriate risks through transformative leadership, he looks forward to a future with Stavatti Aerospace and remains committed to making it an efficient, ethical and dynamic organization. Mr. Cart also values his familial background, having been raised in a farming family. He notes that his upbringing and autodidactic learning have allowed him to keep things simple and practical.
