Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine 263 S pecializing in mammography and women’s imaging, Dr. Kenneth Ray Cook is a noted radiologist who has been serving in a private radiology practice in Corpus Christi, Texas, since 1987. During his tenure, he was also chairman of the management committee of Radiology Associates in Corpus Christi, staff radiologist at the Spohn Memorial Medical Center, chief radiologist at the Bay Area Medical Center and assistant clinical professor of family practice at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Arts and an MD from the University of Kansas, he subsequently completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Cook maintains affiliation with the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Radiology, the Texas Radiologic Society and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. As a testament to his success, he was the recipient of the Resident Teaching Award from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Immigrating to the United States in 1972, he began his medical career as an intern at White Plains Hospital in New York for one year before serving as a resident in internal medicine and fellow in hematology at Winthrop University Hospital for the following four years. Dr. Cho relocated to Tampa, Florida, becoming a fellow in hematology and oncology at the University of South Florida Medical College for two years. Holding a private practice in internal medicine and hematology in Tampa from 1979 to 2011, Dr. Cho is most renowned for being the co-founder and chief medical officer of veriMed IPA, LLC, since 2011. Likewise, he is the co-founder in InterMed, LLC, which has seen success for over 20 years. During his tenure in medicine, Dr. Cho also served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Florida Medical College from 1985 to 1992.
