Since 2007, he has been the technical director of Foxconn Technology Group Co., a multinational electronics manufacturing company headquartered in New Taipei, Taiwan. Manufacturing an estimated 40% of all consumer electronics sold worldwide, notable products to Foxconn’s credit include the Motorola, BlackBerry, Nokia, iPhone, inFocus mobile phones, Xiaomi smartphone, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One, among others. In his unique position as technical director, Dr. Chiang has contributed to the invention of the shining iPhone 3 logo, ceramic coating on Nokia mobile phone, and camouflage aircraft coating. Prior to obtaining his current role, he was a senior scientist at Sherwin Williams Company in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1980 to 2007.
