39 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT S haron Lee Radashaw is a music educator, singer, actress and dancer who has been featured on television, on stage and in movies in Hollywood since 1965. A master teacher at California State University, Northridge, for three years, she has also been chair of the electives department at Lawrence Middle School in Chatsworth, California, since 1988 and a music and drama counselor with the Boy Scouts of America since 1981. Over the course of her career, she has acted in such productions as “The Stingiest Man in Town,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “TheMusicMan” and has directed “The King and I,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” “Annie,” “Grease,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “The Sound of Music,” among others. Drawing upon aBachelor ofMusic inmusic education fromEastern Michigan University and Master of Music from Michigan State University, Ms. Radashaw has excelled as a music teacher at several school districts and universities across Michigan and California. She has also been an art show judge for the Thousand Oaks City Council since 1985. She notably sang at Carnegie Hall in New York and sang and danced at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1998. Citing the highlight of her career to be singing in the first Cyber Chorus with John Maestro, she has traveled to 59 countries thus far. Impressively, Ms. Radashaw received three Fulbright-Hays scholarships to study in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Japan between 1997 and 2007. A member of the National Educators Association, the National Music Educators Association and the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California, she was honored with the Bravo Award from the Los Angeles Music Center in 1992 and a Commendation for Multi-Cultural Contributions to the Youth from the Los Angeles Mayor and City Council in 2001. In light of her exceptional undertakings, shewas featured in the third edition of Who’s Who in Entertainment and the 24th edition of Who’s Who in the West.
