46 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine E xcelling in the music industry since 1951, Margaret Mills is a coveted concert pianist whose musical prowess has garnered enthusiasm and delight from her listeners. Performing throughout the United States, Europe and China, she first debuted at the Carnegie Recital Hall and has since performed solo recitals in Alice Tully Hall, the Merkin Concert Hall and the National Gallery of Art. Her talent in piano has inspired her to record several CDs, including “Celebration of Early American Composers,” “Meditations and Overtones,” “Pieces Pittoresgues” and “Two Plus Two.” Alongside her musical endeavors, Ms. Mills also served as a piano teacher at the Turtle Bay Music School for a decade before chairing the piano department at the Third Street Music School from 1987 to 2000. Thereafter, she served as the manager of concert series for the following 13 years. A board member of the Bar Harbor Music School Festival, she formerly chaired the board of the Center Chamber of Music in Greenwich, Connecticut. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, Ms. Mills also holds a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. CONCERT PIANIST, LECTURER New York, NY MARGARET MILLS D rawing upon a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College and Master of Fine Arts from Fordham University, Bruce Lee is the noted author of “Pearl Harbor: Final Judgment” and “Marching Orders: The Untold Story of World War II.” He also edited the Pulitzer Prize- winning book, “Bearing the Cross: The Biography of Martin Luther King Jr.” Mr. Lee has worked for such prominent publishers as William Morrow Inc., McGraw-Hill Trade Division, Reader’s Digest, Newsweek and the New York Daily News, serving Reader’s Digest as senior editor and editor-in-chief of the Reader’s Digest Press over the course of 40 years. Dedicating his skills as an author since 1990, he has also lent his expertise to Montgomery Land LLP as general partner. Mr. Lee received the Award for Advancing Knowledge of Cryptographic History from the National Security Agency in 1995. However, he notes that his career highlights were writing “Pearl Harbor” and “Marching Orders,” as they were the culmination of 30 years of research, including one million-and-a-half pages of official documents from the U.S. Army. An honorary lifetime member of the Naval Order of the United States, he is also a lifetime member of the 107 Regiment with the New York National Guard.
