Joining the faculty of The Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, Texas, in 2001, he has since served as chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. He recently attained the role of president of the medical staff in 2019, a post he will fulfill until 2021. Believing in the importance of hard work and respect, Dr. Huchton advises prospective medical professionals to remain diligent in their endeavors, put forth their best effort and listen intently to patients’ needs. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. As a testament to his success, Dr. Huchton has been named to Super Doctors in light of his contributions to medicine.
