Zurlo is a noted health products executive who has been serving as the founder and managing partner of Plasma Technologies LLC since 2005. Prior appointments to his credit have included executive roles with Alpine Biologics Inc., New York Blood Center, NYPRO Inc., Millipore Inc., and Baxter Healthcare. Highly educated, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from Fordham University and Master of Business Administration from Long Island University. Proud to have led such a fulfilling career, Mr. Zurlo notes that leading the development of the process for producing anti-hemophilic factor was a career highlight. He also thoroughly enjoys his tenure with the Catholic Radio Association, where he is a co-founder and chairman emeritus. Married to his wife, Charlotte Rose, since 1972, he is the father of two children, Luanne and Paul. Luanne is an accomplished executive with past experience on Wall Street and now serves as managing partner for Seton Educational Partners. Paul is a senior partner of Bain Capital in Boston. HEALTH PRODUCTS EXECUTIVE Plasma Technologies LLC Charleston, SC A former captain in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. William Walton Vaughan entered the field of atmospheric sciences after his tenure as a scientific assistant in the Air Force Armament Center with the U.S. Air Force and Army Ballistic Missile Agency with the U.S. Army. In 1958, he went on to serve the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center as chief of the Atmospheric Sciences Division until attaining emeritus status in 1994. He also delved in academia, serving the University of Alabama in Huntsville as director of the Research Institute and research professor of atmospheric sciences. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and physical science education from the University of Florida and PhD in engineering science from the University of Tennessee, plus service with NASA, Dr. Vaughan has been recognized as a senior docent of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. He has contributed articles to professional journals, government technical reports and conference presentations. He is a fellow of the American Meteorological Society and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, having received Distinguished Service, Excellence in Aerospace Standards and Losey Atmospheric Science Awards.
