14 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine C harlie Kriegel has always possessed an interest in real estate; he found it fascinating how a structure could be in terrible shape and then turn into a beautiful, new home. While attending the University of Houston, Mr. Kriegel played on the football team, and his coach referred him to a gentleman that performed rehabilitative work on homes. After he obtained his BA in marketing in 2002, Mr. Kriegel dove into the real estate market. Voted one of Houston’s Top Up and Coming Realtors, Mr. Kriegel has been the chief executive officer and owner of WinHill Advisors-Kirby since 2015. He currently serves as president of the International Real Estate Federation for the State of Texas, and from 2012 to 2015, he was the owner of his first business, Charlie Kriegel Properties. Mr. Kriegel’s greatest career achievement is being in the top 10% in Houston for two consecutive years. Noting that he closes more transactions in one year than 80% of real estate agencies close in a lifetime, Mr. Kriegel attributes his success to always striving to learn more. He has coaches and mentors, attends conferences, reads routinely and gains of knowledge of the ever-changing real estate industry. He preaches, “Knowledge is power.” Mr. Kriegel believes the most rewarding aspect of the real estate industry is being able to contribute to building a family’s life and home. Additionally, Mr. Kriegel and WinHill Advisors take great pride in the fact they teach their agents how to succeed and make changing lives possible. In five years’ time, Mr. Kriegel would like to have the number one team in Houston and employ 160 agents, doubling the number of agents he has now. He also is committed to making sure all of his agents are successful. In his free time, Mr. Kriegel enjoys exercise, Christian music, working with his mentors and taking in nature.
