175 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Utilizing her leadership skills, Ms. Graves began her business, Simple Custodial Services LLC in 2013. She serves as owner and president, and she applies knowledge that she obtained through a career in hospitality management. Notably, Simple Custodial Services was voted Longview’s Best Housekeeping Service in a poll conducted by local news media and was nominated for BBB Awards of Excellence in 2020. One of her proudest moments was winning a contract for a one million square foot distribution center. She won the contract despite competing against many large, established competitors. Ms. Graves is staunchly supported by her husband Eric Graves, and all of their children have worked with her. They were all interviewed and evaluated on their skills, responsibilities and attitudes. She also started a program teaching life skills to teenagers entering the workforce, placing them with supervisors who will be good role models. The teenagers must maintain good grades to continue employment. Ms. Graves attributes her success to hard work and a refusal to give up. To this day, she dedicates the long hours she did when she first began her business. She is strong and consistent in her work ethic and has great mentors to help guide her growth. She lives and operates by the motto, “If you are patient and work hard, everything will pay off.” Ms. Graves is a member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and a volunteer for CASA, a child advocacy organization for children whose families are going through the court system. Additionally, she is partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, cleaning houses for free for women undergoing cancer treatment. In five years’ time, her goal is to have franchise opportunities for her business. With tenacious spirit, she believes she can achieve that goal. T hroughout her life, Juliette Graves has had a desire to run her own business. After a brain tumor diagnosis at the age of 30, she vowed to live on her own terms. While receiving treatment, she saw the ins and outs of patient care in hospitals. She wanted to have the ability to affect the lives of others in a positive manner.
