268 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine D r. Christopher Joseph DeSalva is a consultant, entrepreneur and attorney whose career spans over four decades. The founder of C.J. DeSalva & Associates from 1979 to 1994, in 1984, he was the founder and chief executive officer of The Kings Vault Gallery Incorporated. For more than 25 years, Dr. DeSalva has served as a business consultant, entrepreneur and trial attorney with an emphasis in criminal defense. As an attorney in private practice since 1994, he has handled cases from drunk driving to first degree murder, and litigated in myriad jurisdictions. From 2006 to 2009, he was a temporary court judge on the Superior Court in Riverside County, California. Dr. DeSalva was an adjunct faculty member at the American College of Law. He graduated Saint Vincent College, earning a BA in political science. He graduated summa cum laude and class valedictorian with a JD from the American College of Law. He attended the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons Post Graduate School of Medicine, and qualified as a Medical Legal Analyst. Dr. DeSalva earned an MBA from California Coast University and PhD from California State Christian University. He enlisted as a Private in the United States Marine Corps and received honorable discharges from the Enlisted Corps as a Sergeant and the Officer Corps as a First Lieutenant of Marines. Selected to the rank of Captain in the United States Marine Corps Ready Reserve, he declined promotion and resigned his comission. After completing active service as a First Lieutenant, he served 24 months in active reserves to include Headquarters’ Command Second Infantry Battalion, 23rd Regiment, Fourth Marine Division. Dr. DeSalva volunteerered at the International World Court located in The Hague, Netherlands. He has consulted on a pro bono basis in raising money used to build hospitals, orphanages and schools in Southeast Asia. He has earned the Commemorative Medal of Honor, 2003 National Leadership Award, 2003 Businessman of the Year Award, 2004 International Legal Professional of the Year Gold Medal and 2004 Ronald Reagan Medal.
