Dedicated to serving her clients, Ms. Keephart has been partner at Pellettieri, Rabstein & Altman in Princeton, New Jersey, since 1991. She practices exclusively in the area of family law, with a special emphasis on child custody matters for married and unwed individuals, preparation of premarital agreements, highly contested matrimonial cases involving multimillion-dollar assets, domestic violence matters and same sex partner disputes. Prior to her 28 years with her current firm, Ms. Keephart was a test developer and programadministrator at the Educational Testing Service from 1981 to 1987 and a teacher with the East Windsor Board of Education in Hightstown, New Jersey, from 1973 to 1981. Ms. Keephart has been named one of the Top 10 Lawyers in Family Law. She joined Pellettieri, Rabstein & Altman after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Maria Marinari Sypek and an internship with Federal Judge Clarkson Fischer. Ms. Keephart received a BA from the College of New Jersey in 1973 and an MA from Rider University in 1978. She later obtained a JD from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 1991, where she had the opportunity to study international law in Florence, Italy. Additionally, she received a certificate in divorce mediation from the Rutgers School of Law in 1998 and a certificate in mediation from Harvard Law School in 2000. Ms. Keephart is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Colorado Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, and National Trial Lawyers. She also sits on the board for the New Jersey Capital Philharmonic Orchestra, Capital One Bank and Fleet Bank. Additionally, she is a foundation board member of St. Lawrence & Morris Hall.
