HALL PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (RETIRED) Leatherstocking Consultants Cooperstown, NY BUSINESS SERVICES, CONSULTING AND HUMAN RESOURCES A renowned international financial consultant, Stanley E. Hall got his start with a BS from St. Lawrence University in 1955. He also received a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1959, an MEd from St. Lawrence University in 1967, and an MS from Clarkson University in 1970. Mr. Hall served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army and as Company Commander of the Military Police Company at Yuma Test Station in the Arizona desert. After a nearly 40-year long career, Mr. Hall retired as president and chief executive officer of Leatherstocking Consultants in 1995. He was with the company for four years, and was previously president of Brakeley Recruiting from 1989 to 1991. Over the years, Mr. Hall also served as senior vice president of Brakeley John Price Jones, vice president of public affairs at Colgate University, and vice president of development at Hartwick College, Hiram College and Purdue University. In the 1960s, Mr. Hall was also director of development at St. Lawrence University, director of operation enterprise at the American Management Association, and a sales engineer and supervisor of sales training at General Electric. In light of his career success, Mr. Hall was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Citation from St. Lawrence University in 1990. He was also recognized with the Best Speaker Award from General Electric in 1960. The highlight of his career was during his role at Colgate University. An alumnus suggested Mr. Hall kept in touch with another alumnus. Mr. Hall went to visit that graduate five to six times a year, and when he passed away, he left thousands of dollars in his will to the university. Mr. Hall is a member of the Native Sons of Cooperstown, Adirondack Mountain Club, St. Lawrence Alumni Association, where he was on the executive council from 1991 to 1993, and is a life member of Sigma Chi. In his free time, Mr. Hall enjoys backpacking, canoeing, climbing the Adirondack high peaks, cross country skiing, fishing, photography and sailing.
