Three days later, Elegant Affairs had served more than 4,000 people three meals a day, every day, for one month. A t just 16 years old, Andrea Correale spearheaded her first entrepreneurial venture, Rent-A-Waitress, subsequently launching her into the world of high- end catering. Now serving as a true entrepreneur, TV personality, entertaining expert, philanthropist and caterer, Ms. Correale is backed by a degree from the New York Institute of Technology’s Hotel and Restaurant Management Program in Old Westbury, New York. By her graduation, Ms. Correale is proud to have employed 40 people to Rent-A-Waitress. Mr. Correale is now the president of Elegant Affairs, a full service off-premise catering firm servicing Manhattan, Long Island, the Hamptons and surrounding areas. The business specializes in New York City corporate events, Hampton’s beach parties, Long Island mansion weddings, North Fork vineyard weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and a large array of catered events. Ms. Correale attributes the success of her business to her passion for food service and constant hard work.
