Eyberg received a BA in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1967 and an MA in 1970 and PhD in 1972, both in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon. Renowned for developing the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy intervention method, Dr. Eyberg was named a distinguished professor emerita of the University of Florida in 2011. Beginning in 1984, she was a professor of clinical and health psychology, an affiliate professor in pediatrics and psychology, foundation research professor and associate chair of research in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology. Previously, she worked at the Oregon Health and Science University as an associate and assistant professor of medical psychology. Since 1977, Dr. Eyberg has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Eyberg has received much praise for her work, including the William N. Friedrich Memorial Lecture Award from the Mayo Clinic in 2011 and the Trailblazer Award from the Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies in 2009. However, the highlight of her career was receiving the Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training Award from the American Psychological Association. Duffy has had an abundant career as a biochemist and educator. Dr. Duffy received a Bachelor of Science in 1969 from Fordham University and a Master of Science in 1972 and PhD in 1977 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He was also a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University and the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology. Dr. Duffy was a lieutenant with the U.S. Navy Reserve. Throughout his 40-year career, Dr. Duffy has held multiple positions at the University of Alaska Fairbanks as a director, professor, dean, department head, research assistant and teaching assistant. He has also been an instructor at the University of the Arctic, Roxbury Community College, Harvard University and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Duffy has been the recipient of the Irish Educator Award from Irish Voice and the Excellence in Interdisciplinary Science Award from the Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference. He is also a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has received the ACS Award for Encouraging Disadvantaged Students into Careers in the Chemical Sciences. LAWRENCE K.
