Post-graduation, Ms. Turner was a research assistant in neurophysiology at the Allen Memorial Institute in Montreal from 1949 to 1951. She then moved to Boston to be a research assistant at Harvard Medical School from 1951 to 1953. Ms. Turner spent the majority of her career working for the Gillette Company from 1953 until her retirement in 1989. Throughout those 35-plus years, Ms. Turner was a chemical programmanager, a technical service manager to international operations and a clearance officer for Latin America and Asia-Pacific markets.
