Since 2013, Mr. Vangorp has lead his parish as senior pastor at Two River Fellowship in Greeley, Colorado. He has also been a pastor at Lighthouse, Allison Park, Elbow Lake and Verndale Assembly of God Churches. Mr. Vangorp served as vice principal of the Faith Academy Christian School in Minnesota from 1980 to 1983. Other positions Mr. Vangorp has held related to his faith include developer of the ministry program at Berean Assembly of God Church, Christian education and outreach pastor at Alexandria Assembly of God Church and assistant manager and caretaker at Lake Geneva Bible Camp. Putting his office management degree to use, Mr. Vangorp’s second career includes being the founder and owner of GWEnterprises since 2009. He has additionally worked at Cannon Copier, Koobi LLC, Spruce Ridge Resource Management, Roland Security, ADIA, J&V Van Gorp, Inc., and South Ridge Mall. A man of his word, Mr. Vangorp’s biggest goal is to be faithful to what he said he would do in the church with his business partner and family. He was named toOutstanding YoungMen of America Public Health Champions by the Weld County Health Department, to the American Christian Leadership Council and to the Society of Young American Professionals. He served as president of the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Association of Church Business Administrators from 1987 to 1990 and he currently sits on the board for the Weld Association of Evangelical Churches and the Faith Community Service Fund. Apart from his religious and business endeavors, Mr. Vangorp served as a sergeant in the Iowa Air National Guard from 1971 to 1977. In his free time he enjoys hunting, hiking and bicycling. G ary Wayne Vangorp intended on becoming a farmer, but that was until he felt God direct him toward ministry. Mr. Vangorp received a diploma in pastoral studies, bible and doctrine from Berean School of the Bible in 1975 and a BS in pastoral studies and religious education from North Central University in 1978.
