338 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine plans to remain in his industry and at the airport he has worked for the past 20 years. Previously, from 1997 to 1998, Mr. Bos was a general laborer at Algoma Steel, Inc. Mr. Bos was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Algoma University, and he attributes his success to dedication and hard work, as well as continually learning, listening and putting those values into practice and development. Mr. Bos’ business experience has been an essential ingredient in his work. He has had held numerous positions with the International Association of Airport Executives Canada. Most recently, he was chairman in 2019. In 2017, he sat as vice chair, and in 2016, he sat on the board of directors. He has been a member of the association since 2006. With the Airport Management Council of Ontario, Mr. Bos was president, chair of the board of directors and treasurer. T erry Bos received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Algoma University in Ontario, Canada, in 1997. First visiting Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation on a one year contract to assist the corporation in completing their first business and land use master plan to guide them through their new airport ownership, Mr. Bos stayed with the company at their request and has worked his way up the rankings. Mr. Bos has been an accredited airport executive by the International Association of Airport Executives Canada since 2014. Since 1999, Mr. Bos has served as president, chief executive officer, accountable executive, airport manager and finance manager at Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation in Ontario. During Mr. Bos’ tenure as CEO, the Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation has seen a record number of passenger levels at the airport, increasing from a low of 121,991 in 2010 to a high of 212,831 in 2017.
