60 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine S ince high school, Charlene Burr had a love for the business world. Today, Ms. Burr is the administrative assistant to the Managing Director at Santora CPA Group. She has held this role since 2015, where she not only supports the managing director, but also maintains the recruiting database, planning of firm events and serves on the firm’s Social Committee. Ms. Burr prides herself on her accuracy and attention to detail, which she has developed within her more than 14 years of diverse corporate and non-profit experience. Prior to her current role, Ms. Burr was an instructional coordinator at the Reading Assist Institute from 2011 to 2015. She worked for Avon Products, Inc., as a new hire and division support administrative assistant from 2005 to 2009 and a division sales administrative assistant from 1999 to 2005. She was with Olsten Staffing Services at Avon from 1996 to 1999 as a fundraiser, large order clerk, customer service agent and telephone support specialist. Additionally, Ms. Burr was a head teacher at Hockessin Friends Pre-School from 1991 to 1998. Outside of her vocational endeavors, Ms. Burr always dedicated some of her time to give back to the community. She is a former volunteer of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and former board member of the Family Education Center. She had also been a PTA member and coordinator on various school committees. Ms. Burr received an Associate of Arts in business administration from Goldey-Beacom College, and she attributes her success to her drive and need for excellence. Notably, she twice received Avon’s World Class Award of Merit for exceptional service, as well as numerous customer service awards. Ms. Burr is a member of Business Management Daily and reads the monthly Administrative Professional Today newsletter. In her spare time, Ms. Burr enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her two grown children, two grandchildren and family.
