Inaddition tohisdistinguishedroleat Samyoung Logistics, Dr. Lee serves as vice chairman to the Korea SCM Society, Korea Institute of Logistics Science, Korean Logistics Society and Korea Logistics Research Association. He is also the chairman of logistics with the Incheon Regional Human Resources Development Committee, chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Logistics Committee, and sits on the KITA Korea-Singapore Logistics Cooperation Committee and the National Policy Committee for Logistics Policy. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor at Incheon University and a judge for the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Regulation. For his inimitable service to logistics, Dr. Lee holds numerous certificates in his field and was most recently the recipient of the Korean Logistics Award from the Korean Logistics Association in 2018. He was also granted the Award on Logistics Win-Win Cooperation from Integrated Logistics Association in 2014, the Korea Distribution Award from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2010, the Award for Excellent Labor-Management Culture from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2013, and the Achievement Award for Superior Regulatory Reform Commission from the Minister of Land and Transport in 2013. Winning awards in his field since 2000, Dr. Lee is also a contributor of articles to numerous professional publications. With opportunities to help the development of logistics in Korea by introducing express logistics businesses, third-party logistics businesses and logistics platform businesses, Dr. Lee is most proud of his contributions to advance his country. He plans to remain in his industry and continue to improve logistics in South Korea. Dr. Lee’s advice to those entering his profession is to be a leader and take pride in what you do. F rom working for the Army Logistics Unit in 1981, Dr. Sang Keun Lee thought that the logistics business was suitable for him and he could greatly contribute to the industry.
