Mr. Das spent time in San Francisco, where he was renowned for sharing stages with Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead, and later moved to Austin, Texas, where he became an instant sensation. During his tenure, he was the sales manager of ISKCON’s bimonthly international magazine, Back to Godhead. He commenced his career as an assistant for Tamal Krishna Goswami, serving from 1971 to 1982. He thanks A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, the founder of the movement, and Vishnu Jana Swami for their powerful influences.
